Assistance in locating affordable providers for your particular need -- even if the medical or diagnostic need is not publishable. In the past, we have located providers for prosthetics, non-FDA approved heart procedures, dental procedures and diagnostic procedures.
A nurse or nurse assistant is available to travel with you if needed
Air Ambulance Insurance should evacuation be necessary (example: natural disaster)
Research assistance for procedures that are in clinical trials, or not done in the USA
Assistance in obtaining your passport, and planning your trip
Scheduling of medical appointments, and doctor consultations--transfer of medical records in HIIPA
compliant manner. Provides patient with doctor profile, number of successful surgeries, and outcomes.
Continuation of care coordination plan when you leave an off shore facility, following surgery or treatment
Staff member who is a member of Samaritan Ministry Health Care, travels with groups to our provider destination hospitals, or receives other members on arrival, who are traveling alone or with a companion
Arranges for pastors and local church members to visit with you while you are in the off shore hospital
WHAT NC MEDICAL TRAVEL WILL NOT DO FOR FELLOW MEMBERS:
1. LOCATING PROVIDERS FOR COSMETIC SURGERY, UNLESS IT IS RECONSTRUCTIVE
2. PROVIDE STAFF ASSISTANCE TO HOSPITALS IN COUNTRIES WHERE NO
STAFF ARE PRESENT (example: if you go to a hospital in Europe)
